Positions - Duties and Job Descriptions
Veterinary Nurse (Technician) AHT, CVT, or equivalent – Candidates will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, outpatient care, critical care, IV catheter placement, digital radiology, laboratory specimen collection and analysis, anesthesia administration and monitoring, surgical assistance, dental care, client communication and education, and pharmacy. Use your nursing skills to the fullest as an outpatient, in-patient, or specialty service nurse.
Nurse Assistant - Individual will be responsible for animal care and assisting Doctors and Nursing Staff. Candidate must have some computer literacy; have strong interpersonal skills and ability to act as a productive member of a team. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in an extremely busy and high-paced environment while maintaining excellent communication with clients and other departments within the hospital and the ability to handle clients in a professional manner.
Receptionist – We are seeking individuals capable of professionally handling multiple phone lines, meeting and greeting pet owners, making appointments, data entry, and record filing. Candidates must have excellent people skills and a pleasant phone voice. Must be able to multi-task with confidence and professional demeanor.
Animal Care – Individual will be responsible for the day-to-day care of patients and boarders. This includes feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring the well being of dogs, cats, and occasionally, other companion animals. Pet Care attendants must have mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects.
