History and Mission

Lt. Sherry Schlueter, Head of BSO Abuse and Neglect Investigations wrote, “I am grateful for the unflinching professionalism and compassion of your hospital staff, from the top down. Yours is undoubtedly one of the finest in the State.”

The Coral Springs Animal Hospital has experienced dramatic growth since its establishment in 1977 in its first location in a small rented space in a shopping center. We have grown from one doctor and three employees in 1977 to twenty three doctors and eighty-five employees in 2008. It is only by consistently meeting or exceeding the varying needs and desires of the large majority of the pet owning public that we have been able to achieve this astounding growth.

Our formula for success is quite simple, quoting from our Doctor’s Manual: “veterinarians should consider first the welfare of the patient for the purpose of relieving suffering…while causing a minimum of pain or fright. Benefit to the patient should transcend personal advantage or monetary gain in decisions concerning therapy.” This animal hospital strives to practice veterinary medicine and surgery with the highest degree of ethics and professionalism. We have worked hard and have earned a reputation for doing just that.”
